Azul: Summer Pavilion is a beautifully strategic tile-placement game and the third installment in the acclaimed Azul series designed by Michael Kiesling. In this elegant abstract strategy game, 2–4 players take on the role of master artisans tasked with decorating the king’s unbuilt summer pavilion using vibrant ceramic tiles. The goal is to score the most points by drafting and placing tiles into carefully planned patterns over six rounds of play.

Unlike its predecessors, Summer Pavilion introduces a dynamic twist where each round features a different color of tiles acting as a “wild” tile, giving players more flexibility and fresh strategic choices as they draft and place tiles onto their player boards. Carefully managing your collection, planning placements, and leveraging bonus scoring opportunities from surrounding special symbols are key to victory.
