Pandemic

In Pandemic, several deadly diseases have broken out simultaneously across the globe! Players take on the roles of disease-fighting specialists, working together to treat outbreaks, prevent the spread, and discover cures for four plagues before they spiral out of control.

On each turn, players can take up to four actions: travel between cities, treat infections, build research stations, or discover cures. Cards provide special abilities, but Epidemic! cards and a separate infection deck keep the tension high, simulating the rapid and unpredictable spread of disease.

Each player assumes a unique role, such as the Operations Expert who can build research stations, or the Scientist who needs fewer cards to discover a cure. Strategy and teamwork are essential: if any disease spreads too far or time runs out, the team loses. But if all four diseases are cured, everyone wins!

The 2013 edition adds two new roles: the Contingency Planner and the Quarantine Specialist, bringing fresh strategies to the classic cooperative gameplay.
